Foundation Types We Install
Trench Foundations
The most common foundation type for house extensions. A continuous strip of concrete poured into excavated trenches, providing solid support for load-bearing walls. Suitable for most soil conditions and the standard choice for single and double storey extensions.
Raft Foundations
A large concrete slab that covers the entire footprint of the building. Ideal for sites with poor ground conditions, soft soil, or where the load needs to be spread over a wider area. Raft foundations are reinforced with steel mesh and provide excellent stability.
Pad Foundations
Individual concrete pads positioned at key load-bearing points. Used to support columns, steel frames, or point loads. Pad foundations are cost-effective when the structure doesn't require continuous support along its length.
Underpinning
Strengthening and stabilising existing foundations that have subsided, cracked, or are no longer adequate. We use traditional mass concrete underpinning and mini-piling methods to restore structural integrity to your property.
Piled Foundations
Deep foundation solutions for sites with very poor ground conditions, high water tables, or where loads need to be transferred to deeper, more stable soil layers. We install both driven and bored piles depending on site conditions.
